This course offers a comprehensive, medically accurate, and respectful exploration of human biology and sexual health in a space designed for female-identifying students only. The class creates a supportive environment for learning, asking questions, and engaging in open, thoughtful conversation about topics that are often personal and complex.
Students will study human anatomy and physiology, including reproductive systems and sexual development, alongside topics such as contraception, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), consent, and healthy relationships. The course will also explore how culture, identity, and social context shape our understanding of bodies, health, and sexuality.
Grounded in Applied Scientific Reasoning, Human Sexuality, and Self-Awareness and Identity, students will:

Develop a clear understanding of human anatomy and biological processes, using scientific thinking to explain how body systems function and interact.

Learn accurate, practical information about sexual reproduction, contraception, STIs, and consent, and apply this knowledge to real-life decision-making.
