We are actively engaging as creators. This is an opportunity for motivated individuals to express and display their creative work, particularly on social media. Join me and find your voice, healthy forms of expression and figure out the challenge of engaging with social media as a teacher and a tool. In this class, we will center using our smartphones and other technology as a creative tool. Within that challenge, we will confront barriers to creativity and flow. With a daily Media Literacy exercise, we will examine the problem of how to be an ethical, informed and vital contributor to conversations on social media, pop culture, and our shared learning space. This class is recommended for students who have an ongoing creative process that they would like to share on social media, who are interested in sharing memes and other types of media (no brainrot) and who consider themselves creative individuals.
